Orlando Auto Body Is Proud to Become a CIECA Member
A Meaningful Step Forward for Our Customers, Our Team, and the Collision Repair Industry
At Orlando Auto Body, we have always believed that repairing vehicles the right way requires more than tools, equipment, and technical skill. It also requires a commitment to learning, communication, technology, and involvement in the collision repair industry.
That is why we are honored and privileged to announce that Orlando Auto Body is now a member of the Collision Industry Electronic Commerce Association, better known as CIECA.
This membership connects our company with an organization that brings together repair facilities, vehicle manufacturers, insurance companies, parts suppliers, rental providers, technology companies, calibration specialists, and other collision industry professionals. Together, these organizations help develop the communication and data standards that keep an increasingly complex industry moving forward.
For us, becoming a CIECA member is not simply about adding another logo to a list. It is about participating in the conversations, education, and innovation that influence how modern collision repairs are managed.
What Is CIECA?
CIECA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to developing electronic communication standards for the collision industry. These standards help the many businesses involved in a repair communicate and exchange information more consistently.
Modern collision repair involves much more than restoring visible body damage. A single repair may require communication among the repair facility, insurance carrier, vehicle manufacturer, parts vendors, rental company, estimating platform, diagnostic provider, and calibration specialist. When those systems use consistent terminology and data standards, information can move more accurately and efficiently throughout the repair process.
CIECA also provides education, technical resources, industry forums, and opportunities for members to participate in committees addressing important subjects such as estimating, parts procurement, repair status, vehicle data, ADAS calibration, electric vehicles, and emerging technology.
What CIECA Membership Means for Our Customers
Most customers will never see the technology and communication systems working behind the scenes during a collision repair. They simply want their questions answered, their vehicle repaired properly, and the process to be as clear and manageable as possible.
CIECA membership gives Orlando Auto Body greater access to the standards, education, and industry discussions shaping those behind-the-scenes processes.
That matters because today’s vehicles are more technologically advanced than ever. Sensors, cameras, driver-assistance systems, specialized materials, manufacturer procedures, electronic estimates, and calibration requirements can all be part of a modern repair. Staying connected to the wider collision industry helps us better understand how these systems and processes continue to evolve.
For our customers, that commitment supports:
- Clearer communication throughout the repair process
- More consistent information exchanged among repair partners
- Greater awareness of developing vehicle technology and repair workflows
- A repair experience supported by current industry knowledge
Membership itself is not a repair certification, and we believe it is important to make that distinction. It represents Orlando Auto Body’s voluntary decision to remain engaged with the organizations and professionals working to improve the collision industry.
What This Membership Means for Our Team
Our technicians, estimators, customer service professionals, parts team, and administrative staff all contribute to the success of every repair. As vehicles and industry systems become more complex, our team needs access to reliable education and broader professional conversations.
CIECA membership opens the door to educational webinars, technical resources, industry events, committee discussions, and insight from professionals across many areas of collision repair.
That access helps our team look beyond the work happening inside our own facilities. We can learn how insurers, manufacturers, software companies, parts providers, calibration professionals, and other repairers are approaching shared challenges. It also gives us opportunities to contribute our own real-world perspective as an established repair provider.
When our team has more opportunities to learn and connect, we become better prepared to adapt, collaborate, and serve our customers.
Honored to Have a Voice in the Industry
Orlando Auto Body has served Arizona drivers for generations. Throughout that history, the vehicles, tools, materials, and technology involved in collision repair have changed dramatically. What has not changed is our responsibility to keep learning and to take care of the people who trust us with their vehicles.
Joining CIECA is another way for us to honor that responsibility.
We are proud to stand alongside organizations from across the collision industry that are working toward better communication, smarter technology, and more efficient repair processes. We are equally proud to give our team access to more education and a stronger connection to the future of our profession.
Most importantly, we are grateful to our customers. Your trust allows us to continue investing in our people, our facilities, our technology, and our industry involvement.
Becoming a CIECA member is both an honor and a privilege, and we look forward to putting the knowledge and connections that come with membership to work for the people and communities we serve.
