Reception

When you arrive at Orlando Auto Body you will be greeted by a professional staff member, after completing a brief information\expectations sheet, your service manager will go over your vehicle with you. Noting all of your requests, comments, requirements and concerns, your initial visual damage inspection will be completed while you wait; following with you receiving a comprehensive itemized damage report. Your service manager can help you determine the best solution to your repair problems. Many times our clients need “collision counseling” lets face it, you don’t get in an accident everyday and it’s hard to know what to do first. At Orlando Auto Body we do know what to do first.
All of us here have dedicated our professional lives to this industry. We have become very proficient at our craft, so if you give us your problem, we will give you a solution. Estimating your estimate is being prepared by the latest modern software, which guarantees you the most accurate and thorough estimate available today. Our database holds information on over 14 million parts, and every make and model vehicle from 1966 to today. Schedule an Appointment for Repairs whenever possible we pre-order the required parts for your repairs in the event of safety-related items, this can be from a broken tail light and headlamp to turn signals. We will order under a “critical rush” and replace the damage safety item before the rest of your parts arrive. Remember you always have the option of dropping off your vehicle immediately if you don’t feel comfortable driving it in the damage condition.
Tear Down

When your vehicle is ready for repairs and all of your damaged parts are removed, the vehicle is “de-trimmed”. If there are any hidden damages revealed we will prepare a complete supplement report of the additional damages. We locate required parts and pricing, secure authorization or a Re-inspection by your insurance company. After the inspection we will contact you with not only the problem, but the solution as well. We will never proceed without your complete understanding, and approval of work. You will have many questions, but we will go to great lengths to make sure those questions are answered.
Frame Work

Our Shark diagnostic measuring system measures your frame or uni-body vehicle by sonar, from that we can determine frame/uni-body damage within meters and millimeters. Of course it is put in within factory specifications that is provide by the vehicle manufacturer. Metal Work Sheet metal repairs are handled in dedicated bays that are equipped with the latest equipment. This includes welders and materials like used by automobile manufactures.
Paint

Paint and clear coat, which is the same coating applied at the factory on most of today’s vehicles, are used exclusively in our state-of-art spray booth.
Re- Assembly

After repairing then refinishing your “de-trimmed” vehicle, the next step is to place the job back with your body technician for re-assembly. This is a precise stage as headlamps, door handles, bumpers, interior trim, and grills are put back on the vehicle. All components are tested and in working condition before the technician continues.
Mechanical

Once all of the weight is put back on the vehicle, it is now ready for suspension alignment, but only if required. This is also the department that recharges your air conditioner, tops off fluids, test drives, and mechanically inspects your vehicle for safety.
Detail

Inside and out, engine compartments, under-carriage, and trunks; now the vehicle has been cleaned for delivery. We want to remove any signs that we worked on your vehicle, so that when we return it, it’s in better condition than before it was wrecked. One of our many goals is to make your vehicle look like it was never damaged.
Inspection

All aspects of the repair are inspected to factory tolerances by your service manager. They perform a 22 point inspection including horns, tail lamps, air conditioning, heating, engine gauges, cleanliness, power locks, trunks, windows, and fuel doors. The vehicle is then test driven; make sure the radio is working, and a final estimate checked against the vehicle. We will make sure that we don’t charge you for something we didn’t do; if we do it will be removed from your bill.
Payment Confirmation

Your service manager will confirm waived deductibles, location of insurance draft, and secures any supplement damage payments before you arrive, so there are no unexpected delays when you pick up your vehicle.
The Final Inspection

The final inspection is the most important! It is formed by you; being our customer we want you to be completely satisfied with the quality of your repairs. The treatment you received as one of our clients and the color match of your perfect paint. There will be no uneven gaps and your vehicle will be cleaner than before it was damaged.
